Dave Gangl

Maintenance Craft Director

Your Maintenance Craft Director Is Dave Gangl.

For those of you who don’t know me, I am the Maintenance Craft Director David “Dave” Gangl. I have been with the USPS since 1987 when I was hired as an MPE-06. I was promoted to MPE-07, ET-08, and ET-09 over the course of several years. I have since been promoted to ET-10 and then ET-11, due to Union negotiated upgrades. I became a maintenance steward in 1995 and a STEP 2 designee in 1997. In May of 1998 I was elected the Vice President of Automation in the Maintenance Craft and was re-elected to that position in May of 2001. In November of 2001, I was elected at a general membership meeting as the Maintenance Craft Director, due to the election of Troy Rorman to National Business Agent “C” of the Maintenance Craft. I was re-elected as Maintenance Craft Director in May of 2004. I have been elected by the Union membership to represent you - the members!

Yours in solidarity,

Dave Gangl
